You need to keep laying 1 over 2 until there is nothing left to do.

Sometimes opposite do attract. This combo of Turkish Travertine pool flooring works great with the rustic PA. Fieldstone dry laid walls.

This project was actually a full remodel. Believe it or not there is a 20 year old brick house somewhere in the middle of this home on Lake Norman.

The detail for these chimneys were not on the plans, in fact there were no plans for this project. The homeowner had a magazine photo of a chimney she liked so we made 2 copies and went to work. Each team of masons were able to build both simultaneously using the photo as a reference.

Nothing quite as stunning as a dry stone wall. This was a 150′ wall with absolutely no mortar used. The columns are 6″ veneer, but the infill is 100% dry laid.

This is the gallery hallway where we placed pea gravel betweeen the stones. We mixed the gravel with epoxy so it will never move, but looks loose.
